IPontypoolI succeeds as an exercise pointing to a new way of doing horror for an audience that knows all the mechanics of the zombie movie and now simply needs a new reason to care. Effective and spooky and definitely smarter than your average studio fare, IPontypoolI is an off-the-wall little offering that rewards viewers looking for something different.

Its not just the snow storm thats chilling in this Canadian zombie movie from director Bruce McDonald (THE TRACEY FRAGMENTS). Stephen McHattie (WATCHMEN) stars as controversy-courting radio DJ Grant Mazzy, who can only find work in Pontypool, Ontario, where he broadcasts his show from the church basement.
