Chris also performs well in low light (when taking pictures, and we'll stop right there) but I was talking about the 7D.
Last night, Chris and I went out shooting in downtown Kitchener. We expressly brought only one low-light lens, no tripod and a desire to see what could be done.
The 7D, I have learned, can automatically set its ISO if you want it to, and I have let it. Overall, the results are impressive. Hand-held at night, shots are actually more than passable, and that's with no tripod, not shooting RAW (dang Apple - release support!) and not having an excellent quality lens. I didn't even need to convert to B&W.
The 7D continues to impress. I expect it will for some time. :)
