    What Information Do We Collect?

    1. In general, you can browse the Site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. Once you give us your personal information, you are not anonymous to us. We offer a number of services that do not require you to register for an account or provide any personal or business information to us, such as We-Create Directory search, Classified search, ConnectorVoice search and Communities searches.

    2. If you choose to register for an account with our Site, we will require you to provide contact and other personal information as indicated on the forms throughout the Site. Where possible, we indicate which fields are required and which fields are optional. You always have the option to not provide information by choosing not to use a particular service or feature. Accordingly we collect the following types of information from you:

      1. Registration Information. Upon registration we collect personal information, such as your name, email address and postal/zip code, when you register to become a member of the Site. This information is used when you set up your personal profile. As part of your personal profile, you may choose to submit additional information such as your age, gender and address and other content, such as photos.

      2. Information collected automatically. The Site receives and stores information which is transmitted automatically from your computer to our servers when you browse and use the Site. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request.     1. We-Create strives to make a reasonable effort to ensure that you are advised of the purposes for which the information will be used (please see the section 'How and Why We Use This Information' found below).

    2. We-Create will not, as a condition of the supply of a product or service, require an individual to consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of information beyond that required to fulfill the explicitly specified and legitimate purposes.

You may withdraw your consent to the ongoing uses or disclosures of personal information set out in this Privacy Policy at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. You will be informed of the implications of such withdrawal. In order to withdraw consent, your consent may be withdrawn by providing notice to us in writing by providing a photocopy of photo ID.     How and Why We Use this Information?

    2. Registration Information. We will display your personal information on your profile according to the preferences you set. We will use your name so that you are recognisable on our database and so that we can personalize your experience We will use your email address to contact you from time to time and may also use it for security reasons to confirm that you are who you say you are. You can control the types and frequencies of certain emails you receive in your email preferences.

    3. Information collected automatically. We use this information to do internal research on our users' demographics, interests, and behaviour to better understand and serve you and our community.

    Disclosure and Retention of Personal Information

      2. ConnectorLocal Community. Certain features of the Site allow for your Site username ("Username") to be displayed throughout the Site, and is therefore available to the public. Some of your activities on the Site will be identifiable to others by your Username. For example, when posting content, testimonials, or comments, the "screen name" will be viewed by all who view that content. This screen name is customizable but defaults to first name, last initial until changed. Also, when clicked, this screen name will display the profile of the person posting the content/testimonial/comment. This profile will contain only the information the user has made public. Therefore, if you associate your name with your Username, the people you have revealed your name to will be able to personally identify your activities on the Site.

      3. Affiliates and others in the ConnectorLocal Network. The ConnectorLocal Network improves your online experience by offering you access to a variety of features, offerings and content not only on the Site, but to a growing number of websites operated by some of today's top media companies (collectively, the "ConnectorLocal Network"). By registering with the Site you have the option of using your Username and corresponding Site password ("Password") to sign into any website in the ConnectorLocal Network (each a "Network Site"), saving you the trouble of registering with each site individually. When you sign into a ConnectorLocal Network affiliate for the first time using your Username and Password, some of your personal information is disclosed by us to, and shared with, that Network Site. As part of the integrated sign-in process, We-Create shares personal information such as name and e-mail address with the Network Site and thus the owners and operators of that Network Site. Network Sites that receive your personal information may use this information according to their applicable privacy policies. The choice to sign into a Network Site using your Username and Password is entirely yours. You hereby acknowledge that by signing into a Network Site using your Username and Password that you consent to disclosure of your name and e-mail address to the Network Site, including its owners and operators. YOU FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IN THE EVENT THAT A NETWORK SITE IS LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES OR ANOTHER FOREIGN COUNTRY, YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION MAY BE PROCESSED AND STORED IN THE UNITED STATES OR SUCH OTHER FOREIGN COUNTRY, AND THE GOVERNMENTS, COURTS OR LAW ENFORCEMENT OR REGULATORY AGENCIES OF THAT COUNTRY MAY BE ABLE TO OBTAIN DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION THROUGH THE LAWS OF THE FOREIGN COUNTRY.

      4. Legal or other compulsion. In certain circumstances we may disclose personal information where we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of We-Create, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.

      5. Other instances. Personal information may also be disclosed in connection with a sale, transfer or reorganization of one or more of We-Create's businesses, in which case if the acquiring company should plan to materially change this privacy policy, we will notify you beforehand.

    2. We will retain personal information that has been used to make a decision about an individual long enough to allow the individual access to the information after the decision has been made, and, in the event of an access request or a challenge, long enough to exhaust any recourse an individual may have under the law.

    Personal Information Safeguards

    1. We have invested and deployed a wide variety of technology and security features to ensure the privacy of personal and anonymous information on our system. We-Create does not out-source' the collection and retention of your personal information. Your information is stored and processed on computers located in Canada and are maintained by We-Create. We use procedural and technical safeguards to protect your personal information against loss or theft, as well as against unauthorized access or disclosure, to protect your privacy, including firewalls and encryption. We employ many different security techniques to protect such data from unauthorized access by users inside and outside the company.

    2. We will continue to revise policies and implement additional security features as new technologies become available. HOWEVER, "PERFECT SECURITY" DOES NOT EXIST ON THE INTERNET, THEREFORE, WE-CREATE MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES WITH REGARD TO THE SUFFICIENCY OF THESE SECURITY MEASURES. WE-CREATE SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACTUAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES OR LIABILITY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, WHETHER AS A RESULT OF NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) THAT RESULT FROM A LAPSE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY BECAUSE OF A SECURITY BREACH OR TECHNICAL MALFUNCTION.
