Jabari Arthur's thoughts,
Moe Khan's thoughts
*Check in, as I will provide a daily update of Grey Cup week*
Grey Cup week has officially arrived in Montreal, as the host team, and East Division champions, Alouettes will take on the West Division champions, Calgary Stampeders. It has not sunk in just yet that Grey Cup week is here, however, this afternoon, in a phone conversation with Montreal’s own, Jabari Arthur of the Calgary Stampeders, I can feel the excitement in his voice, as the Stampeders are preparing to touch down in Montreal on Tuesday afternoon. However, Arthur did explain to me that the Stampeders will be treating this as a business trip nothing more than that. But for a local athlete like Jabari Arthur, whether you are cheering on for the Alouettes, make sure you save some applause for Arthur (he wears #87), to reach the Grey Cup in his rookie year is an accomplishment, but I know he will savior every moment of this leading up to the big game this Sunday.
Throughout the week, I will provide a daily commentary of my Grey Cup experiences as we approach the 96th edition of Canada’s most cherished football trophy. Up next on my Grey Cup agenda, tomorrow afternoon, I will make my first trip inside our most beloved building in this great city of ours, Olympic Stadium to pickup my Grey Cup media package. Once I have that media pass draped around my neck, then the Grey Cup festivities will officially begin. Until then, check out my blog tomorrow on the first official day of Grey Cup week.
