Arson is suspected in a fire that destroyed two Victorian-style homes in downtown Riverside authorities said. The two wood-frame homes on Mulberry Street just off Highway 91 near First Street caught fire about 10:20 p.m. Saturday and were unoccupied, Riverside Fire Department Battalion Chief Bill Stamper told the Press- Enterprise.
