Police Wednesday discovered a three-foot alligator in the front yard of a Venice home, authorities said. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department's Pacific Station responded to a report of an alligator seen crawling into the bushes at a home in the 200 block of 4th Avenue near Rose Avenue about 1:20 a.m., an LAPD sergeant said.
