The owner of a Los Angeles pool hall will spend life in prison without chance of parole for shooting two people who sold him the business. A judge on Friday sentenced 48-year-old Bae Hyuk Shin for the 2004 murders. Prosecutors say Shin shot the former owner of Nice Q Billiards in Koreatown and a middleman because he thought they cheated him on the deal.
