Though I couldn't care less about the outcome it is interesting to see the political process in action so close to home. The issue seems to be contention over the validity of some of the votes.
If you don't vote you can't complain about the results. If you feel your vote never matters anyway then get out and vote in the referrendum at least.. and vote FOR MMP if you want your votes to count in the future.
