When I saw the question, "Why do I love Jesus?", my initial thought is because he's my everything. Then I paused to ask myself the question, "Why does Jesus love me?" When you think that a sinless, superior omini present, omnipotent God of the universe takes the time to love a sinful creature, worthless and mortal being such as I am, you remember he loved me and can tranform me into whatever I want to be for him. He made me in his image, He whipered into my ear and told me, Janice I CAN do ALL THINGS through Christ that strenghthens me. Wow I say! My God how can I ever doubt you, or not love someone as great as you! You give me this day my daily bread and forgave my debts and I shall forgive my debtors. You promised my eternal life and only in return you ask of me just to love you and your meek and lowly,our neighbors, friends,co-workers. God loves me, God is Love. He sent his son to bear my sins! I LOVE YOU JESUS!

I love Jesus because he first loved me. As much as I know my family loves me, His love is even greater than the love they have for me. You see, they loved me after I was conceived. Jesus loved me and called my named before I was born---before the world even existed. When I read in the Bible how he knew great people like Samuel and Samson before they were born and contacted their parents about their ensuing births, I know I am really especially loved. Just as he guided their lives, I know he is always with me. I am able to live a fearless and courageous life with this knowledge. Whether I succeed or fail, I will always give Him the glory because I know everything is working out for my good.

The easiest answer and the one most repeated is because He loved me first. I love Jesus because He has proved to me repeatedly that He has saved my life and He is the only one that is always for me. I love Jesus because of what He has done for me, the evidence that I could be in a terrible situation, like a war torn country but I am not, I could be jobless but I am not, I could be alone but I have great friends, I could have a family that does not support me as I follow His lead, but I do. I love Him because I have breathe in my body. I love Him because He continually shows me that He loves me.

I would just like to state that I love Jesus because; "We were created in God's image". "God is Love". Therefore - Any person doing good in the eyes of God (seeking righteousness). Is pleasing (to) God. God gave the Ransom sacrifice, His only begotten son so that we might seek Him (God) and please Him. That we might live forever on a paradise earth. Jesus' torture and death was prophesised. He was well aware what laid ahead when Judas gave him up for a handful of silver pieces. Yet he loved us more than we could ever fathom. Because of Jesus we now have the hope of everlasting life. This is why I love Jesus and his Father.

Because He first loved me. I know that sounds like I just want to put anything, but the fact of the matter is know one else would love me the way He does, unconditionaly. My love can't compare to His love for me, I don't even know how to love that way, but I feel it.

He loves me for who I am and he died and did things for me and he died on the cross for me.
