I came across a treatment called E.M.D.R. for people that have been through a traumatic experience.  I had an appointment with the doctor that gives the treatment and he recommended it for my son.  I applied for the funding to cover the expense for the treatment and was very disappointed when I received the notice that it would not be covered.  I am wondering how much does it cost to put a child in a program called "theraputic riding".  I would imagine that is quite costly.   I think there are a  lot of children involved in that program.  The answer I was given was that no one has ever had that treatment and we have never heard of it.  So therefore we cannot cover that.  I dont think that is the answer.  I also added to the application a lot of information to explain what the treatment was all about, where, and who would be giving the treatment.
