As the Browns get wrose, the Tribe gets better...
...but it's obviously too late this year. If you hadn't noticed since football started up, the Indians are playing outstanding baseball. The Tribe has won 6 in a row and are a game over .500 (betcha didn't think that would happen). It just goes to show what kind of effect not having a healthy Travis Hafner and Victor Martinez has meant to this team. The Indians record of 37-24 since the AllStar break is 5th best in baseball, and best in the AL Central. The future looks bright for the team in '09 with our offensive depth and the emergence and improvement of Scott Lewis this year, and hopefully Adam Miller and Matt LaPorta next year. Romeo Crennel can be shown the door, but Eric Wedge is welcome to stay. Here's to a successful and HEALTHY ballclub next year.
