ConnectorLocal.com's goal is to provide you with the best hyper-local information relevant to where you are.

Is that wrong? Here's how to change it:

1. On the right you'll notice a map with a green square marker. If you roll over it with your mouse it will say "You are here!" If it's close, skip to the last step below.

2. Underneath the map you'll see a text box to "enter your location". You can put almost anything into this box, but we suggest one of the following:

   • A ZIP/postal code. It doesn't need to be for your house, just one close by.
   • A nearby intersection. You'll need to include your city name too.
   • The name of your town or city.
   • The name of a nearby major landmark or state park.
   • The local phone number for a nearby business. We'll start you on their doorstep.
   • Your latitude and longitude. Say from a car or hand held GPS receiver?

3. After pressing "GO" you'll see a new map with lots of red pins with a list of matching city/state names below it. These are your search results.

4. You can either click on a pin or on a "change" button in the search results list to change your location.

5. If you want to refine you location further you can simply click and drag the "you are here" pin to another location on the map (zoom in and out if you want too). When you let go the pin will bounce to tell you it has saved your new location.
